Preface "Love does not teach. For some those words will ring with truth if they have ever dared to go far beyond themselves allowing love to become the ultimate connection. Love is connection. Love creates a desire beyond ourselves to find the truth we share with others. My own life has been filled with peaks and valleys capturing the essence of life pushing me into some of the darkest moments, while the grasping hold of love has changed me forever. The example of love will teach peering eyes and the human spirit to desire the myriad of complex gratifying feelings that come to light as a reward, but it will always be the connection that love brings allowing us to rescue ourselves. Connecting to ourselves, inner feelings, desires, issues, emotions, reactions, questions, reasons, and the countless variances of love is important. I have nothing to teach you, but as the pages of my own story turn with the winds of intrigue and time it is the connection we share that I believe you will recognize for yourself, and that is the gift of words and the power of love allowing us to be the same. To be vulnerable and yet strong, bold and yet subtle, kind and yet powerful, ever reaching to be more; ever wanting to become; ever needful to know that we are not alone and that the sky would never reach its full beauty with just one star shining. Instead it is an artful canvas and we choose whether to add our significant, beaming, and needed light to shine in the world’s darkness, or face the lonely hours of life that will become ours alone.
